Fans are absolutely stunned by how Fairy Tail 503 turned out last Monday. The much-awaited transformation of Natsu Dragneel into E.N.D. finally happened.

The next thing that fans are looking forward to in Fairy Tail 504 is the fire and ice showdown between Natsu and his good old friend Gray Fullbuster.

In an earlier report of Headlines and Global News, a huge battle between the two was predicted considering that the latter is set to kill E.N.D. even before learning its true identity. Upon the revelation that E.N.D. is actually Ethereal Natsu Dragneel, fans are expecting Gray to take matters into full action and confront Natsu in a fight-until-death battle.

While some fans are excited to see how this epic battle would turn out, some fans suggested an alternate storyline for Fairy Tail 504. Rather than killing each other off, the two would be sensible enough not to engage in a fight amid all the enemies that Fairy Tail has on hand as of the moment. Likewise, what good reason is there for Natsu and Gray to fight in the first place?

Adding the fact that Gray is still angered by the supposed death of Juvia, he has all the reasons to get into a battle with E.N.D in Fairy Tail 504. Fans are, however, hopeful that Gray would realize that Natsu is not a monster and consider the situation reasonably.

Furthermore, contrary to the belief that Natsu lost his control over himself upon his transformation and would turn into a man-killing machine, it seems that he is still conscious of his actions. In Fairy Tail 503, he was sane enough not to fully obliterate and kill Dimaria and also to protect Lucy. Likewise, Natsu is on his way to kill Zeref and Gray is not Zeref. So the question still remains: Why fight?

As shown in the previous chapters of Fairy Tail, Natsu and Gray, however, are the least logical people in the world, especially when it comes to fighting. As such, the two might fight nonetheless.

In a separate report by HNGN, the title of Fairy Tail 504 was revealed as "Crack" or "Rift." Fans are speculating that the episode title signifies the supposed rift in the friendship of Natsu and Gray and that one of them is destined to die in this showdown. The details for Fairy Tail 504, however, are yet to be known.

Considering how the two resolved previous conflicts and also their unpredictable friendship, fans are hopeful that whether or not Natsu and Gray would engage in an epic battle, the two would not end up killing each other.

So are you excited for Fairy Tail 504? The next chapter comes out sometime next week. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
