Fans are much hyped for Fairy Tail 503 considering that the previous episode ended in such a major cliffhanger.
The excitement is so much so that fans are swarming around a leaked spoiler of Fairy Tail 503 in Reddit. The leaked article is written in Japanese, but the translation reads as, "The identity of the tumor is the power of E.N.D."
In the recent episodes of Fairy Tail, fans are left wondering what Natsu Dragneel's tumor is about. Is it actually, literally, a tumor or does it stand for something else? However, with this revelation, fans concluded that Natsu's tumor is somehow related to E.N.D.
A Youtube user further speculated that Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima is actually working on a future revelation of E.N.D with the appearance of Natsu's tumor in the show. The same source further explained that the said tumor occurred right after Natsu's fight with Zeref. In the recent episodes, Zeref was shown shooting a light beam on the book of E.N.D. into which the frame immediately shifted to a scene where Natsu grabs his chest in pain and agony before losing his consciousness. This event somehow hinted that when Zeref damaged the book of E.N.D., Natsu's so-called tumor appeared.
This tumor, however, is more than what it seems. The same source noted that what Zeref actually did is unleash the seal of the book, thus, releasing E.N.D.
Dreadful and dark it may be, the transformation of Natsu into E.N.D. seems inevitable. As viewers and readers are well-aware of, E.N.D. actually stands for Ethereal Natsu Dragneel. Not much information is known about the true nature and form of E.N.D., but the possibility of Natsu transforming into such throws Fairy Tail fans into a roller coaster emotion. While some believe that this would turn out to be heartbreaking, fans are excited to see an epic battle.
The fate of the much-loved protagonist, however, hangs up in the air. As fans already know, E.N.D. represents the only being that could defeat Zeref. The twist here, is that if Zeref dies so does Natsu, being the E.N.D.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited battle of fire and ice might actually happen in Fairy Tail 503. The same Reddit user further revealed that while Natsu is on his way to find Zeref, he would bump into Gray Fullbuster instead. Thus, begins the battle of two old friends that the creators might possibly further explore in Fairy Tail 504 titled "Crack."
Whether Natsu will retain consciousness of his being after this transformation seems unlikely, causing much damage not to just his foes but also to his friends and, likewise, to himself.
