Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson brought the fans into a whole new physical level in the Fifty Shades Darker trailer released last week. Fans of the much awaited erotic film, however, should prepare themselves for more titillating BDSM and nude scenes as the upcoming film "slips into something a shade darker."
As per the report of Sportsrageuous, Dornan was rumored to have been offered $1.5 million to do a frontal nude scene. The actor, however, did not confirm nor deny the news but has been teasing the fans about the intimate scene. Apparently, the fans just have to wait and see.
Moreover, what fans are really looking forward to is the intense sex scenes of the lead characters. Movie News Guide noted that Fifty Shades Darker is the hottest book of the trilogy as it explores not just the sexual relationship of Christian and Anastasia but also the process in which they discover their true feelings for each other.
To add to this already intense turn of events, as the book readers already know, Fifty Shades Darker would also introduce the woman who once played Mr. Christian Grey as her submissive. The second installment would explore Christian's dark childhood.
Likewise, one of Christian's former submissive Leila Williams would reappear to his life and threaten his developing relationship with Anastasia.
If the audiences have noticed, Anastasia and Leila share physical semblance. As such, Leila is disillusioned that Christian is in love with her and threatens the safety of Anastasia. In the trailer, Leila confronted Anastasia,"Do you think you're the first one who's tried to save him?"
Although it does not come as a surprise to Fifty Shades Darker fans that Christian had several women he engaged into a BDSM relationship before he met Anastasia, fans are curious to see how these two new characters would affect the sexual affair turned into a more serious relationship of the two lead characters.
Kim Basinger will play Mrs. Robinson while Bella Heathcote will be playing Leila Williams. Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit theaters on Valentine's Day. Stay tuned for more updates!
