'Empire' Season 3: Rhonda's death confirmed; Mariah Carey to guest star

"We Belong Together" singer Mariah Carey will be guest starring in the upcoming episode of "Empire" Season 3. Aside from that, FOX Network finally released the official plot description of episode 2 'Sins That Amend'. Also, the person who died in last week's premiere episode 'Light in Darkness' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.
Mariah Carey will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming episode of "Empire" Season 3. According to International Business Times, the "We Belong Together" singer will be portraying as herself in the show. Carey will debut to record a song with Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett).
As for the official plot synopsis of "Empire" Season 3 episode 2, TV Guide notes, "Jamal tries to turn his being shot into something positive when he teams up with a businessman to talk about gun violence and host a summit for awareness. But when he tries to perform again, things don't go as planned.
Meanwhile, Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) attempts to get Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) in his corner; Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray) enters the recording studio with Shine, and Andre Teamer (Barry Richardson) gets in trouble with the law."
For a quick recap of "Empire" Season 3 premiere episode 'Light in Darkness' Yahoo! TV reported that Hakeem jumped in a car and drove after Laura (Jamila Velazquez) left him at the altar. Because of that, Lucious and Jamal tried to stop him.
Elsewhere, Rhonda Lyon (Kaitlyn Doubleday) died after she hit the car right in front of them hard.
"Empire" Season 3 episode 2 is entitled as "Sin that Amends". The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on FOX Network.
