With the hype and good ratings that the premiere season of Strangers Things received, creators seem to not wasting any time and started pre-production already!

The production crew was recently spotted outside of Hawkins National Library. Fans are quick to conclude that Strangers 2 might have started filming already.

With the way Strangers Things ended, the viewers are left with many big questions including the fate of fan-beloved character Eleven. She disappeared in the season finale and nobody knows if she will be back in Strangers Things 2, even the writers themselves.

"We don't know about Eleven," said Ross Duffer when asked about an update on the characters for Strangers Things 2.

As per the report of Comic Book, writers Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that there will be new characters that will be joining the Strangers Things 2In another report of The Bitbag, it seems that a new character is meant to replace Eleven. This character is Max, a 12-14 yeard old girl who appears and acts like a guy.

Max is expected to appear in Strangers Things 2 pilot episode which is called MadMax. The other episodes will be called The Boy Who Came Back to Life, The Pumpin Patch, The Palace, The Storm, The Pollywog, The Secret Cabin, The Brain, and The Lost Brother.

Fans would also see familiar faces from the first season such as Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, and Gaten Matarazzo and the kids who were able to live until Strangers Things 2.

Likewise, Matt and Ross Duffer revealed Strangers Things Season 2 will take place soon right after the events in the first season. The two said they batted out whether the story would take a large time jump where the kids are older.

"That's something we batted around from the very beginning. But for us, there's still more story here [in the 1980s], there's still things that are unresolved," Ross explained.

There is no specific release date set yet for the second season but fans are expecting Strangers Things 2 to return to Netflix sometime in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
