The "American Horror Story" Season 6 gives rise to different speculations. Some of these include the characters as well as the plot. The whole production team had kept tight-lipped about these rumors until the plot and theme will be revealed altogether.

The "American Horror Story", which was titled "My Roanake Nightmare", highlights the colony that suddenly vanished in North Carolina in 1590. Deadline also reported that the title itself, Roanake, referred to North Carolina's controversial island known as "Lost Colony" where 117 settlers had lived.

So much mystery clouded their disappearance since only the word, Croatoan, was engraved on to a tree which was the only thing left as a clue for the mystery.

As the theme of the new season was already unveiled, it seems like the fans will not anymore anticipate for children and an opera as portion of the whole story. This was the very words of assurance of the creator himself, Ryan Murphy when he attended the PaleyFest last March.

Fans started to insinuate The Lost Colony theme when TMZ shared set photos referring to Croatoan.

In the meantime, "American Horror Story" Season 6 premiere episode introduced a show within a show. As it is also a documentary, interviews were integrated and actors re-enacting some scenes.

The plot of the story revolves around mixed-race couple, Shelby and Matt, portrayed by Lily Rabe and Andre Holland respectively. They transferred to a farmhouse in North Carolina after Shelby suffered a miscarriage. The two shared their story which was then put into portrayal by Cuba Gooding Jr and Sarah Paulson.

Amid released of the theme of "American Horror Story", fans are still dissatisfied with the premiere. Some were infuriated as their favorites did not appear in the first episode, while others expressed misperception about how the whole story developed.

Despite of some not-so-good reviews, some fans are still happy that "American Horror Story" Season 6 returns on FX, which is aired every Wednesday.
