"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" left moviegoers with lots of questions to answer including Rey's induced vision which was the most notable. Perhaps, fans might expect for more of that in the upcoming episodes and it seems like there might be a lot of dark flashbacks when "Star Wars Episode VIII" hits the theatre.

Even if the next Star Wars episode is still on production, there are some speculations that the movie will reveal a great deal of secrets including a dark and a deadly flashback, as stated in Wired.

It has been noted that in the last episode of the movies, Luke Skywalker disappeared. Maybe in Episode 8, viewers can expect for more details on that in addition to his Jedi School.

According to Making Star Wars, the new film will also showcase a scene that includes R2-D2, Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke and with some of the kids who are seemingly the dead padawans. Just the fact that a grown-up Rey is in the scene and even if she never interacts with them suggests that this is one of her visions, which fans have seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Well, besides possibly answering the queries about the transformation of Ben Solo to Kylo Ren, as well as the whereabouts of Luke, it could also lead us to the justification why the first vision transpired. These flashbacks of the past events were not explicitly explained in The Force. Whatever the reason why this second vision happened at all could also aid in explaining the reason they are happening to Rey.

Because of the hinting that viewers might witness a lot of flashbacks in the upcoming episode, it seems to indicate that some details in the vision may play a vital part in the plot of the whole series. The reason of not revealing everything in the first episodes is not to keep viewers confused but because there is something very significant in the plot which we should not miss to watch.

In Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, there is a flashback scene with dead students which was considered one of the darkest scene in all the Star Wars series.

But if there are claims that Star Wars: Episode VIII will be as dark overall as that above-mentioned episode, viewers could surely witness the blackest scenes ever.
