Injustice 2 is believed to make a mass market comeback by bringing along more new heroes, new villains and a long list of new exciting features to attract more gamers to be hooked on the game.

Considering the first title's success, the second installment is expected to provide more attractions. To do such, it was reported that the Injustice 2 will feature some of the favorite characters from the original along with a number of less popular ones and some common comic book names.

In an article published by Yibada, it was revealed that the characters like the Beast Boy, Captain Boomerang, King, Darkseid, Jonah Hex, Rorschach and Swamp Thing will most likely make it to the Injustice 2 roster. It also hinted that the DC fans' favorites Starfire and Red Hood will also be included on the new character lineup.

The possible appearance of Starfire and Red Hood in Injustice 2, however, is not surprising. This is so since the results of a poll made by creator Ed Boon revealed that Jason Todd/Red Hood gained the majority of the votes, followed by Star Fire, Black Manta and John Constantine.

In addition to that, Ecumenical News shared rumor that the Injustice 2 will be launched to all platforms maybe in the first months of 2017. Given this unconfirmed information, PC owners are encouraged to check the game's spec requirements.

Aside from the said rumors, the Injustice 2 is believed to come with new set of features that will allow players to obtain armor loot pieces for every win. With this setup, the players will also be allowed to upgrade the designated armor and unlock more powerful skills that their characters have as the game progress.

Finally, a GameNGuide report shared that Warner Bros.' Injustice 2 will continue to showcase the  existing characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman,  Aquaman, Deadshot, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus and Blue Beetle.
