The finale of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 had left everyone on their toes, wondering who could be the victim of Negan's baseball bat, Lucille. While some theories suggested that it could be Abraham Ford, the trailer of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 tells a different story.

So far, the show runners have done an immensely great job at keeping Negan's victim a secret. Even the new trailer focuses on his character - he can be seen giving a speech, thrashing the gate and being awesome as always. However, it does not show the actual victim.

However, a closer look at the trailer reveals that there is someone trapped under those crazy zombies. A little closer look and the fans could finally identify who it was - it was indeed Abraham!

Recently during an interview, Michael Cudlitz, the actor who plays Abraham's character, sounded like he will survive Negan's wrath, Huffington Post reported. However, reports suggest that Cudlitz was never seen on the shooting locations ever after the show's premiere was shot.

Notably, the trailer and reports suggest that Abraham could be Negan's victim only. Everything points towards Abraham's death, and when the new trailer came out, a Reddit user immediately spotted Abraham trapped below a zombie in one of the quick scenes in the trailer.

The character looks like Abraham, but it is not sure whether it is actually him. The person was seen struggling under a zombie, raising speculations that he may be killed.

If it is not Abraham, then the trapped person could be someone that Carol and Morgan met during "The Walking Dead" finale. So, another possibility is that it could be someone that none of the fans have been introduced to as yet.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 returns on AMC on Oct. 23 at 9 pm ET.
