'The Walking Dead' fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of the AMC's zombie series and now it is only a matter of few months for Season 7 will start airing by fall this year. And if you are wondering what Negan has in mind, you can rely on the Comic-Con, slated to be held in a few weeks.

A lot will be revealed about Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character in the upcoming show. Fans will get to meet him and also learn about his psychology. Notably, Negan made his entry in the Season 6 finale and it was quite a terrifying one. He used his Lucille- a barbed wire baseball bat to kill a member of Rick's group. But the identity of the victim was not revealed as the finale ended in a cliffhanger, leaving fans annoyed and irritated.

They were angry with the showrunners as the cliffhanger meant a long waiting time, running into months, to know who bit the dust. But now that a few months have passed and fall is near, fans would not have to wait more. What is more, the Comic-Con is coming where the season 7 trailer would be also released.

As for Negan, fans do not know much about him as it was for a very short period of time that he appeared on the screen. But from what showrunners and producers have teased, it seems like Negan is not an out and out dark character. Scott Gimple previously said that he is not that bad a guy as he seems. He has his reasons for operating in a brutal manner. His past has shaped him to be like he is at present.

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has also said that Negan has got his own motivations. He said that he does not look at characters as sociopaths when he is playing them. According to him, they are completely rational human beings.

Well, looks like Negan is one interesting villain and we cannot wait for the Comic-Con to find out more about him and his motivations.
