As reports confirmed that the Ascendant TV series is now filming, rumors have it that the lead stars of its movie franchise Shailene Woodley and Theo James parted ways and dropped out of the show's transition, while on the other hand, Theo James is taking some time off with his fiance Ruth Kearney.

As previous reports stated, the main cast of Divergent: Ascendant is unaware of the movie's cancellation as well as the fact that the movie is about to become a TV series. According to The Source, though the Divergent series has been such as hit, the low performance of Divergent: Allegiant has delivered doubts in the making of its third franchise the Ascendant which turned out that Lionsgate decided to produce a TV series.

According to Movie News Guide, Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate, and Kevin Beggs, television group chairperson, confirmed that the Ascendant TV series is not starting its productions and would be having 10 to13 episode for its first season. Furthermore, they also mentioned that if viewers would respond favorably with the TV series, they will work out a multiple-season strategy next.

On the other hand, Several reports stated that the main cast of the movie, including James and Woodley, have dropped out of the franchise. Fans of the Divergent series assumes that the Ascendant TV series might not be as good as it theater counterpart with the absence of James, Woodley chemistry which Lionsgate is currently lip-tight at the moment.

On the other side of the news, Theo James and his real-life fiancee' Ruth Kearney rumored to be having some time off as they wait for their wedding which is said to happen once Divergent: Ascendant has been completed.
