Is Angelina Jolie dead? This week the actress' name got trending in social media as a suicide video said to be featured in reliable news agencies, CNN and BBC, got viral. The death hoax came in the heights of infidelity rumors between Brad Pitt and Allied co-star Marion Cotillard.

The 'malicious message' containing the alleged Jolie's suicide video was posted in a Facebook page where other celebrities like Jaden Smith who was featured previously and was thought to have committed suicide.

"CNN Video Footage: Angelina Jolie Says Goodbye to Her Fans and to Brad Pitt Before Doing This Suicidal," goes the caption of the video.

Users who was lured into the catchy captioned and clicked the link, however, was redirected to an app who will ask permission for the user to post it on his page. No real suicide video, however, has been reportedly seen by any user clicking the link.

There's no CNN video of Jolie saying goodbye to her fans or Brad Pitt 'before doing this suicidal,' and no factual news story about her death," a source said.

The death hoax was further revoke when another source spotted the Maleficent star strolling around a mall in Los Angeles with kids, Pax and Zaraha the same week when the said suicide video was posted.

Even if the suicide video turned out to be a hoax, news hounds cannot help but make a connection between the release of the death hoax and the heightening divorce rumors of Brad and Angie. The death hoax, once more, put a question in the public if it contains some grain of truth in it. Is there a possibility that Jolie has been depressed considering the lurking infidelity rumors between Brad and his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard?

Since the filming of the World War II film, rumor mills have been spreading reports that the 52-year old actor and the French actress extended their closeness beyond the set and was even seen kissing in public.

Amidst reports, other sources stressed that Angelina Jolie remained unperturbed and is not jealous at all. A source also claimed that the cheating rumors aimed at Brad Pitt are completely 'non-sense.'
