James Corden's 'The Late Late Show' can easily boast of a bucket full of celebrities who have made it to the viral segment Carpool Karaoke. But now, First Lady Michelle Obama will be in the passenger seat this Wednesday.

The lighthearted segment has witnessed famous names like Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the recent months. Before that, many more A-listers have graced the passenger seat with James Corden but now a very special celebrity guest is all set to do the honors.

According to reports, Michelle Obama has given her consent to be the next passenger on the Carpool karaoke and she will be seen on the Wednesday night episode of the show. A preview of her musical night has also been released by AOL's Makers and it shows her having conversation about the last time she was in the passenger seat. Michelle is also seen singing Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' with Corden.

In the coming episode, she will join the host for a duet as well. 'This Is For My Girls,' which is a charity single created for the Let Girls Learn initiative, will feature on Wednesday night. This initiative aims to break down the stigma and barriers that pose hurdles in the way of girls and do not allow them to have the education they rightfully deserve.

The girl power anthem has been written by Dianne Warren and produced by MAKERS.com. Michelle has commissioned it and the song features artists like Missy Elliott, Janelle Kelly Clarkson, Monae, Lea Michele, Kelly Rowland, Chloe and Halle, and Zendaya.

It is worth mentioning here that Michelle's appearance on Corden's show was announced last month by the President himself through a Snapchat video when Corden came to the White House. The First Lady is known to have an activist's bent of mind and she has featured on different entertainment programs previously to raise awareness about national and social issues.

This spring saw her making an appearance on 'NCIS' and 'The Night Shift' to create awareness about the Joining Forces initiative.
