There is some exciting news for 'The Warriors' fans. 'The Warriors' would now be incorporated into a TV series directed by the Russo brothers - Paramount and Hulu.

The duo would create an innovative drama out of the classic, with long-term plans to carve it into a series. Not to mention, there would be a lot of improvisations to the plot of the movie. The company would be adding their flavor of love, sex, violence to bring in the unique proposition.

This is not the first instance when the Russo brothers are directing a film (or a series). In the past, the two of them have co-directed Marvel films such as Captain America - Civil War and Captain America - Winter Soldier. They have also proved their stellar mettle in the silver screen as well with directing successful shows such as Community and Arrested Development. However, there is nothing official that the Russo brothers would direct the Warriors series as well.

For now, the Russo brothers would collaborate with writer Frank Baldwin, who is still a newbie with two works to his name - Godmother and 'The Run'. The original version of the movie 'The Warrior' involves seven gang members with the aim to rule over New York. The gang, under the able leadership of Cyrus, drew several of members across the city to join their group and in the process overpower the police department. The plot failed with the death of Cyrus, and all the blame coming to the Warriors.

This is not all for the fans of the Warriors - there is a video game designed by Rockstar Games based on the plot of the movie. The game would be compatible with PlayStation 2 and 4 with a player getting the control of the film characters.
