"Frozen 2" has been confirmed for big screen release by Disney following the enormous success of "Frozen" as the highest grossing animated film of all time. Recently, speculations are rife over Elsa and Anna's gender identities. The latest report coming out from rumor mill suggests that Tarzan may actually be Elsa and Anna's long-lost brother.

The follow-up title to hit animated film will be directed again by Chris Buck. So far, exact details as to how the plot unfolds in the sequel remain under wraps. With a general plan laid out for production, fans are wondering how the storyline will be played out.

As mentioned by Australia News Network, Buck is dead serious about the message it will convey to the present generation. Given the tremendous success of the first film, Buck is under enormous pressure to direct a film as great and massive as the original.

Since its spectacular release more than two years ago, "Frozen" really has left quite a strong impact among multi-generational fans. With media-hype rumors making rounds online, a number of overzealous fans are linking the animated film to other Disney movies like "Tarzan", "Little Mermaid", and Tangled according to BuzzFeed report.

Sounds unlikely? But some overzealous fans think it is highly plausible. As the Tarzan-Frozen relationship theory goes, the story centers on Elsa and Anna's parents' unfortunate sea journey. The story goes on to say that their parents weren't exactly lost as sea. The royal couple purportedly survived and washed ashore in an island where the queen gave birth to a son, Tarzan.

Even more controversial is a surprising report from Showbiz Maven suggesting an Anna-Elsa romance. The report speculates that Anna may not actually be Elsa's real sister. As an adopted sibling, Elsa could fall in love with Anna. As reported by Ecumenical News, a rumored controversial homosexual theme has drawn the LGBT community and conservatives into a highly contentious social media war.
