This would not have been the first time for Square Enix to introduce "Final Fantasy" characters in "Kingdom Hearts" series. It is common to see small creatures from "Final Fantasy" in "Kingdom Hearts."

However, with the upcoming installment of the "Kingdom Heart" series, things are about to change as there will not be any "Final Fantasy" element in the game.

"We're not adding any Final Fantasy worlds. A lot of the original [to Kingdom Hearts] worlds [Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town, e.t.c.] had Final Fantasy characters in them. At this moment, we are not really coming up with any plans for that, we're making original worlds and Disney worlds," director Tai Yasue told the publication.

Yasue also added that "Kingdome Hearts 3" is executed on the gameplay and only those Disney World characters are introduced that fit the gameplay style. He also explained that the gameplay for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be unique and suitable to popular Disney Worlds.

Sora, the game protagonist, and his friends will reportedly visit the different worlds that will be inspired by Disney films. In each world, the player will have to deal with exceptional challenges, making the gameplay more exciting.

In previous reports, it was pointed out that some of the worlds confirmed in "Kingdom Hearts 3" include "Tangled," "Hercules," and "Big Hero 6." There are also speculations that "KH3" will also have "Zootopia," "Star Wars," and "Frozen" worlds, among others.
