WWE 2K17 is coming later this yet but, so far, the wrestling simulation game doesn't have a cover star just yet. Without any confirmation regarding the purported cover star, current WWE Superstars, particularly New Day, are not exactly media-shy about grabbing a highly coveted spot on the game's cover.

According to Games Radar, reigning WWE Tag Champion New Day member Big E thinks that his crew (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) should have the chance to land on the WWE 2K17 cover. For Woods, Big E's opinion actually makes a lot of sense since he is a highly enthusiastic video gamer himself who even runs a YouTube video gaming channel 'Up, Up, Down, Down.' In a recent interview, Big E (Ettore Ewen) strongly insists of letting them adorn the cover.

"It's a slam dunk: the three of us, clearly. Xavier is owning gaming right now. Plus we've been tag champs for over 200 days. We're out there killing it, making people laugh, we have the power of positivity that's infectious. Stop looking! Stop looking! Look no more! The New Day accepts your offer. Thank you, 2K, for offering us the cover. We accept! When is the cover shoot?" Big E said as quoted in an Attack of the Fanboy report.

While the tag team champion is quite entertaining and motivational in the WWE Universe for making people laugh and infecting them with their so-called 'power of positivity,' other WWE stars aren't too comfortable with the idea of the trio landing a sweet spot on the game's cover.

As per Game Zone, Brock Lesnar's agent and advocate Paul Heyman thinks 'The Beast' is more suited for he WWE 2K17's cover. On the other hand, Damien Sandow thinks the WWE fans should appear on the cover too for they are the ones propping up the sales.

In the past couple of months, The New Day has become one of the most must-see wrestling factions in the wrestling promotion but it remains to be seen whether the Big E & Co. will ever get to land on the cover. Meanwhile, 2K Games has recently confirmed wrestling legend Bill Goldberg as the WWE 2K17's pre-order exclusive playable character. The simulation game is slated for October release.
