With Josh Jackson deciding to go to Kansas, the majority of the top recruits in the 2016 class have chosen where they will play their college basketball. Jackson was considering Arizona, but they were always a long shot, and the Wildcats hope to get their hands on another top recruit who is close to a decision.

Terrance Ferguson is one of the few top recruits left on the board after he de-committed from Alabama, but it doesn't seem like he will be available for much longer. After choosing to leave Alabama, Ferguson received quite a few calls from top schools, and he is now ready to make a decision.

The five-star guard tweeted that he would not be making any more visits and that he would announce his decision at some point this week.  Ferguson didn't give an exact date or time we can expect him to announce, but some believe that it could happen as early as Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Ferguson is said to be considering five schools, and they are Arizona, Kansas, Maryland, N.C. State and North Carolina. UNC and N.C. State have effectively been eliminated considering that Ferguson didn't take any type of visit there. Meanwhile, Arizona has emerged as the heavy favorite to land the Dallas, Texas native. The only official visit that Ferguson has taken since going back on his Alabama commitment was to Arizona, but he did take unofficial visits to Kansas and Maryland.

The Wildcats are already expected to be an extremely good team next year without Ferguson considering that they already have the seventh best recruiting class in the nation and Allonzo Trier announced he would be back for his sophomore season. Adding Ferguson, however, would move Arizona from seventh to third in 2016 recruiting class rankings, and he would join fellow five-stars Rawle Alkins and Kobi Simmons, who has recruited him hard.

Ferguson is ranked as the 13th best recruit in the nation and the fourth best shooting guard in the 2016 class. The 6-foot-6 wing was a McDonald's All-American and has been impressive in all of the high school All-Star games that have taken place recently. Having him alongside Alkins, Simmons and Trier would give Sean Miller and the Wildcats an impressive collection of wing players, and at this point, it would shock a lot of people if that's not where he ends up.
