Chris Massey has been arrested for domestic violence following a fight with his girlfriend in Las Vegas this past weekend.

The 26-year-old former "Zoey 101" star and his girlfriend Cassalei Jackson were at the Marquee Club at Cosmo early in the morning on Sunday when they apparently got into an argument that ended with him in cuffs.

Law enforcement said that Massey allegedly pushed Jackson to the ground and hotel security had to detain him until the cops arrived. He was then arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence charges. He has since been released on bail.

Since he has been released, he has been telling friends that the two were in fact involved in an argument but that security got the situation all wrong. Massey insists that as they were leaving the club, Jackson accidentally fell and security assumed that he was the one that had pushed her because they heard that the two had been fighting. She is apparently not pressing charges against the former Nickelodeon star.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jackson had tweeted "'Have you ever been wide awake blacked out ?'" and she then followed that up with another tweet writing, "F---ing Vegas man."

Massey also recently posted a photo of him and his girlfriend to Instagram with the caption, "I love you...No matter what I always got your back." Jackson then posted the same photo to her own Instagram on Monday morning with no caption.

Her mom is Shar Jackson, who has two children with Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline, although K-Fed is not her father. Her mother has yet to weigh in on the incident.

Last summer, the actor/comedian was involved in a fight with Lil Twist after the rapper allegedly broke into his twin brother Kyle's home and attacked him. Lil Twist and his friends had allegedly robbed Massey and beat him up with brass knuckles and the rapper was then charged with a felony for robbery and battery suspect.

Massey has not yet been formally charged by the DA for the Vegas incident, but he is set to return to court on May 10.
