Pebble has rolled out a fresh update with a slew of new features for its budget smartwatch making it more efficient for iOS device owners, and a new "Do Not Disturb" mode to block notifications for a preferred time.

Pebble is continuing to update its smartwatch with attractive new features that make the wearable tech experience much better. Just a month ago, Pebble smartwatch received a major makeover for iOS 7 users, including full notification support. The latest version, PebbleOS v1.14, boosts iOS performance, adds new "Do Not Disturb" mode, improves alarms with new "Snooze" option and also enhances notifications control.

"We've been working hard (like elves in a workshop) on fresh firmware for Pebblers to enjoy," Pebble said in its release notes of the latest update, Thursday. "We're pleased to announce the release of PebbleOS v1.14. This Update includes new features, improvements, and fixes."

The update adds new features and fixes bugs to improve overall experience. The new "Do Not Disturb" mode lets users blog notification for a set period of time, which keeps your smartwatch buzzing while you are sleeping or busy in a meeting. The company has added a dedicated menu for the new feature under Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb.

The latest update also lets users create multiple alarms, toggle alarms on and off, and edit existing alarms. There is a new "Snooze" feature for alarm that can be accessed via Pebble Alarms app on the phone.

Pebble notifications can be customized with users choosing from what options must be displayed for quick access. Apple iOS devices also get a better synchronization with updated Pebble. Unlike before, Pebble reconnects to an iOS device immediately after a user exits the Airplane mode.

The entry of new features is accompanied by a few bug fixes. Pebble users will notice a better connection between their smartwatch and iOS devices, without any dropped Bluetooth connections. Other issues where the watch would continue to vibrate even after dismissing or answering a phone calls, and delay in displaying Caller ID data on the Pebble after getting a missed call, have been fixed in the latest update.
