Michael Jackson will always be the king of his daughter Paris Jackson's heart.

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old took to her Instagram to show off her new tattoo, which she got as a tribute to her late father. In Michael's handwriting, she got "Queen of my Heart" inked on the outside of her left wrist.

"'Queen of My Heart' in his handwriting," the teen captioned the black-and-white picture, which showed her and her tattoo artist. "To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart. Thank you @dermagraphink, you're a legend."

The only daughter of the King of Pop celebrated her 18th birthday over the weekend with a trip to Disneyland with her friends and boyfriend Michael Snoddy, a drummer for the punk rock percussion band Street Drum Corps. The two have been dating for a couple of weeks now and have been very open with their relationship on social media. On her birthday, Paris posted a picture of the two of them kissing in front of the Disney Ferris wheel with the caption: "best birthday ever."

Paris, the daughter of Michael and Debbie Rowe, was only 11 years old when the "Thriller" singer passed away at the age of 50. After Michael died, Paris and her brothers (known as Prince and Blanket) lived with various Jackson family members, but spent most of their time with their grandmother Katherine Jackson. The teenager has struggled in the past - while attending boarding school in Utah, she reportedly experienced depression and even attempted suicide in 2013.

In February, Paris took to Instagram to call out all of her haters who have criticized her for the way she has lived her life since her father passed away. Instead of giving into cyberbullying, she instead used her father as an example of someone who triumphed despite facing harsh comments on a regular basis.

"It's so selfish that I am literally attacked on every f--king thing I post just because people that I DON'T EVEN KNOW aren't getting what they want... I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f--king ridiculous," she responded to a critic on the picture-sharing platform. "The expectations for my DAD were f--king ridiculous. He didn't owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me."
