Jodie Sweetin had the entire "Dancing With The Stars" ballroom in tears on on Monday for the Most Memorable Years night when she chose to celebrate 2016, as well as her sobriety.

Sweetin was on the hit '90s show "Full House" at a very young age, and while those were some of the most memorable years of her life, she chose to honor this past year as her most memorable because of the new reboot series "Fuller House." As someone who battled substance abuse in the past, she's just happy she's in a good place now.

"When the original 'Full House' wrapped, I was 13 years old," she told her partner Keo Motsepe in the pre-taped clip before she hit the dance floor. "It was a huge shift in my life. Everything that I'd known from the time I was five years old suddenly ended, and it was saying goodbye to a family that I loved very very much. At such a young age, it really was a huge loss for me that I didn't know how to grieve."

"Drugs and alcohol just sort of numbed everything," she continued. "I was doing cocaine, and ecstasy, and alcohol, and all that. The darkest moments for me weren't necessarily ending up in the hospital and all that. It was those quiet moments alone when I'd just hated the person I'd become."

Now that she has been five years sober, and has her two children Zoie, 7, and Beatrix, 5, as well as her new fiancé Justin Hodak, to support her, she's been much happier.

She and Mostepe then danced a beautiful foxtrot honoring 2016 because it brought her back into the spotlight.

"What a gift to go back to doing what I love," she said. "I remember my mom saying that when I was little, I had this light that shined really big and that she'd watched my light become very dark...Doing this dance, I get to shine again. I dimmed my light for a long time and I don't feel like I have to do that anymore."

"@jodiesweetin u inspire me every single day and I am super proud of you," Motsepe captioned a photo of their dance. He then posted a video writing, "Our foxtrot from last night. Thank you @AndraDayMusic for lending your voice and your song. Thank you @JodieSweetin for sharing your story with the world. And thank you for the fans for your words of support and encouragement."
