The 2016 NFL Draft is expected to be loaded with talented interior defensive linemen, many of which are expected to land in the first round of the draft. Many NFL franchises are leaving no stone unturned in their search for players for the 2016 NFL Draft, and some players that may have not been on teams' radars before are starting to make their presence known following strong Pro Day performances.

One player who has improved his draft stock with his Pro Day performance is Florida Atlantic defensive tackle Trevon Coley. The 6-foot, 305-pound defensive tackle reportedly impressed scouts with his Pro Day workout and could be moving up on teams' draft boards.

The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers have reportedly "shown a lot of interest" in Coley and could look to target him in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft. In his senior season at Florida Atlantic, Coley recorded 66 total tackles, nine tackles for a loss, six sacks and two forced fumbles.

The defensive tackle prospect became a vocal leader for his team in 2015, and he was named Florida Atlantic's team MVP. Coley's small stature for an interior defensive lineman may cause some teams to overlook him in the upcoming draft, but his ability to attack gaps and create pressure on opposing quarterbacks will surely lead one team to reach on him in the upcoming draft.

Both the Panthers and Broncos could provide a strong environment for the young defensive tackle prospect, as both franchises already have extremely talented defenses that could look to develop him in time. Coley is projected by many teams as a three-technique tackle and reportedly looked quite impressive in position drills this past Thursday.

It's unknown how highly viewed Coley is by both the Panthers and Broncos, but both teams have needs on the defensive line and are expected to look to bolster the position in the upcoming draft. The Florida Atlantic prospect likely won't be targeted in the early rounds of the draft, but he should be a player to keep and eye on later this month, as his pro day workout clearly has put him on the radar for at least a couple teams.
