West Indies will take on England in the final of International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 World Cup 2016 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday.

England and West Indies have won the global Twenty20 title in the past. Both sides are going to play WT20 final for the second time on Sunday.

West Indies thrashed hosts and title favorite India by seven wickets in the second semi-final of WT20 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Thursday night. Lendl Simmons (83 not out), Johnson Charles (51) and Andre Russell (43 not out) powered the Caribbean side to chase down a massive total of 193 with two balls to spare.

"I obviously think it (the two no balls) swing in our way...it could have been different ball game had I been out and a new batter (batsman) would have been in and you never know what could have happened," the player of the match Simmons said after the semi-final victory.

England, on the other hand, booked their place in the WT20 final after beating a strong New Zealand in the first semi-final on Wednesday night. Batting first, the Kiwi side made 153 for eight in twenty overs. England, in reply, chased down the target comfortably in 17.1 overs with the help of opener Jason Roy's 44-ball 78 run knock.

"I don't think it could have been much better. Maybe we would have liked to start better with the ball, but we did well to peg it back. Making a final is the kind of thing you dream of as a kid. Everyone in the dressing room has worked tremendously hard and made a lot of sacrifices to put us in this position," England's skipper Eoin Morgan said.
