Caitlyn Jenner is still learning about her role in society as a transgender woman, and there's more to come in season 2 of her E! docuseries "I Am Cait." In a newly released midseason super teaser promo, Caitlyn continues her journey across the country to raise awareness for trans issues, broadens her political views, bonds with Scott Disick, and kisses and makes up with her ex-wife Kris Jenner.

Caitlyn and her girl gang decide to take a break from spreading the word about trans issues to enjoy a Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans, and Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner crashes their party bus. The exes have come a long way in their relationship since their split, and they finally brushed the drama from Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover story under the rug, and they even share a kiss on the lips.

The former Olympian also spends some time with her former step daughter Kourtney Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Scott Disick when he joins Caitlyn on a hunt for a Christmas tree and then helps her carry it back to her home.

Even though she's working on mending relationships with her family members, Caitlyn still remains focused on broadening her Republican views when it comes to issues facing the transgender community.

"We have to talk about something," Candis Cayne says during dinner before reading a news article from her phone. "Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz opposes equality for transgender people because he thinks trans kids will molest his daughters."

"Republicans, your people," transgender activist Jennifer Boylan tells Caitlyn. "They don't like us."

"They're not my people if they're against this issue," Caitlyn says. "I think he's just totally misinformed."

The women visit Houston, Texas, where the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance, which was approved by Houston's city council and allowed transgender women to use women's bathrooms and transgender men to use men's bathrooms, was rejected last fall. The opposing group, who used the slogan "No men in women's bathrooms" for its campaign, felt that granting equality to transgender residents would endanger women and children.

"A little disobedience, girls? What do you say?" Caitlyn says, suggesting that they all enter the women's restroom while in Houston.

"Seriously, that could mean arrest," gender theorist Kate Bornstein says before praising Caitlyn for her suggestion. "You're becoming a leftist activist."
