Teresa Giudice is slowly adjusting to life as a single mom. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was seen on a pensive stroll in a local park in her hometown of Montville, N.J., just one day after she tearfully said goodbye to her husband Joe Giudice, who began his 41-month prison sentence Wednesday.

Teresa and Joe, who both star on the hit Bravo reality TV series, pleaded guilty in 2014 to 39 fraud-related crimes. They were sentenced to consecutive terms so that one parent could stay home to care for their four daughters while the other was away. Teresa was initially sentenced to 15 months, but only served 11. She was released the day before Christmas Eve last year. Even though her husband hopes to have his 41-month sentence reduced to 18 months, Teresa still has a long road ahead of her without her hubby.

"Teresa and the girls are sad that Joe's gone, but they're doing their best to adjust," a source close to the reality TV family said. "Teresa's keeping busy with the girls. Her life centers around taking care of them and making sure they get to their activities to keep life as normal as possible for them."

The couple share four daughters - 15-year-old Gia, 12-year-old Gabriella, 10-year-old Milania and 6-year-old Audriana - together. The source said that "the girls are pitching in a lot, which makes Teresa really happy."

But the mom of four was spotted out for a stroll without her daughters Thursday afternoon. She was photographed wearing a pair of leopard print workout leggings, pink New Balance running sneakers, a black coat and a bedazzled baseball cap with her long brunette hair in loose, messy waves. She looked as though she was deep in thought during her walk and, at one point, she stopped to sit down on a stone step and got emotional as she took a phone call. Prior to Joe's incarceration, Teresa opened up about how much she'll miss her hubby.

"He's my life - I'm going to miss him tremendously," Teresa said during a recent interview. "Just him not being around - looking at him, kissing him, touching him. He's the love of my life. He was there for me and I'm going to be there for him."
