Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath is known for making her celebrity and model clients' skin look beyond luminous, and she is finally revealing her secret to getting that perfect glow.

McGrath has been teasing her full makeup line for some time now and has only released two items so far, but the announcement of her third product, Skin Fetish 003, is the most exciting of them all. The limited-edition highlighting kit is unlike anything beauty addicts have ever seen, and since McGrath typically keeps her techniques to herself, it will most likely be the most anticipated makeup launch of the year.

"This is the secret," McGrath said of the Skin Fetish 003. "People have wanted to know for years what the secret was, and now this is it."

With highlighting and strobing being such a trend in the makeup world at the moment, the three-piece kit is coming at the perfect time, even though McGrath says this is a technique she's been doing "for 20 years."

The kit will cost $73 and will come in two colors: Golden and Nude. Each kit includes a double-sided stick, with a sheer, creamy balm on one side and a shimmery highlighter on the other, a pigmented pressed powder, and a buffing brush to go with it.

"The formula is actually a gel, which is so different from the typically metallic or white shade," McGrath said of the products. "It's really tapping into that lit-from-within look, instead of looking like you've got talc or mica that's in the way of your [natural] skin."

The Nude version includes Iridescent Pink 003 pigment, Nude Shiny Stick highlighter + balm duo and Buffer 003 brush. The Golden version includes the same three pieces, except in different shades: Fine Gold 003 pigment and the Golden Shiny Stick highlighter + balm duo.

"This changes everything!" the website reads "Meet your new obsession: Skin Fetish 003, the transformative kit of backstage secrets for sinfully sublime skin. Take highlighting to the next dimension with this addictive trio."

McGrath has never given her secret technique away but she promises that this kit will deliver the most luminous look. "This is my top-secret weapon for every single editorial shoot and show in my entire career," she explained. "It's strobing but in a different way. Strobing is just using the cream. It's definitely not this, when you're mixing the balm, the cream, and the pigment. That is real highlighting. We never gave that away. We never told people the real secret, which that yes, there was a cream, but that's just stage A."

While using all three products together will create the ultimate look, the beauty genius went on to explain that this kit is special because it can be used in a variety of ways.

"Anything you want. Some people might do the balm only. Some people might do the cream only," she continued. "You could do the balm, the cream, and the powder. It's up to you on whatever level you want to be. It could be sport or 'aliengelic' On the skin, the balm gives you that wonderful, gorgeous, sheer, kind of transparent glow...This is about looking young, fresh and lifted."

While highlighting products are all over right now, she believes this product achieves what others can't. "It's not a highlight that's hard; it's a glow," she said. "it doesn't sit on top, in the fine lines and wrinkles. It really just melts into the skin. It's like a second skin in a way."

The limited-edition kit will be available on April 26 at 12 p.m. on patmcgrath.com. It will then become available, for the first time ever, in Sephora stores and at Sephora.com on May 10.
