Another day brings another rumor, and its more of the same for "Call of Duty." This time rumors are coming in which suggest that the next entry in Activision's long-lasting FPS series will be titled "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2."

This development comes after months of rumors and speculation about a title for the series next entry. Most recently, rumors suggested that the new game would be titled "Bloodlines" and arrive for the Nintendo NX, but European gaming magazine "Games TM" has changed this expectation with a potential leak, naming the entry "Ghosts 2" in a recent article.

Alleged gaming industry insiders have reportedly spoken to FragHero, giving the publication information which supposedly gives credence to the title of the new entry.

First off, the game will supposedly feature Riley, the German Shepard from the original, as a playable character. Not only that, but the title will reportedly be a continuation of the "Ghosts" plot - which makes sense considering that the original campaign ended on a cliffhanger. Lastly, the game will undergo a tremendous visual overhaul and look better than its predecessor - as it should, since that title was an early next-gen title.

Beyond that, the game is to be released in November and will be playable for the PS4/Xbox One and PC.

The insiders provide no further specific details, such as the plot, gameplay elements or changes between the first entry and the alleged new one.

So how likely is this rumor to be true? At the very least the November release date seems accurate. "Call of Duty" games frequently have end-year releases and it looks like "Ghosts 2" intends to continue the trend. The release date also falls in line with a previous rumor about "Call of Duty: Bloodlines" which is supposed to come out for the NX. Granted this relation to "Bloodlines," as well its very presence, leads to some problems.

Does this alleged confirmation of "Ghosts 2" debunk "Bloodlines?" It's hard to say, but past history supports the existence of "Ghosts 2." With entries like "Modern Warfare," "Ghosts," and "Black Ops," "Bloodlines" seems out of place while "Ghosts 2" fits right in. Then there is the question of a "Call of Duty" coming out for a Nintendo system. Yes, the NX could prove to be an exciting system but so was the Wii U and "Ghosts" did terribly on it. Of course this situation could be solved by Activision releasing two different titles for different systems - it has done so before after all.

As per usual, take this info with a grain of salt even if the source is an alleged "insider" and recent home of rumors.

In the meantime, fans can expect Activision to do an official reveal before E3, with a proper first look and gameplay demo to be displayed during the actual convention.
