Next season on "How to Get Away with Murder," the Keating 5 will be no more. Conrad Ricamora, who plays Conner's hacket boyfriend Oliver, will be upgraded from a recurring character to a series regular for season 3, now making it the Keating 6.

Ricamora's Oliver joined "HTGAWM" in the series' first season, where he quickly emerged as a fan favorite character. The fans' love for Ricamora's character was proven true when it looked like Oliver would meet his untimely demise in an episode that aired last November. Ricamora said that the reaction of fans to Oliver's possible death was so intense on social media that he felt like some of the tweets could have made for some excellent dramatic reading material.

"There was a real outpouring of love and concern for Oliver, and a fear that he might killed off - but a lot of it was done in a very over-the-top way," the actor said at the time. "One person threatened to fight [showrunner] Pete [Nowalk]. Someone else said they were going to throw their TV out the window if my character died. There were a lot of memes, too - even ones with Beyoncé."

"HTGAWM" ended its second season Thursday night, in which Oliver was last seen deleting Conner's acceptance letter to Stanford before he impersonated his boyfriend and called the Dean of Admissions at the University of California and told him to stop calling Conner, even though he agreed to move across the country with him. The relationship between Conner and Oliver was dramatic from the start. During season 2, the couple struggled with Oliver lending more and more time to hacking for Conner's boss Annalse. Throughout the entire second season, Oliver has been toying with becoming a full-time member of Annalise's team and quit his full-time job in the second to last episode of season 2 so he could further assist Annalse.

"[Oliver] has a new lease on life... not only meeting Connor, but also his [HIV-positive] diagnosis," "HTGAWM" showrunner Pete Nowalk said. "All of it has made him look at his life and say, 'What do I really want?' He wants a little bit more excitement. He wants to feel passionate about his job. He doesn't want to be bored."
