Have you ever sat down at the bar and wondered if you could drink beer as a career? If you don't have any plans this summer, your dream job might just come true. Three positions for "Drink It Interns" have just opened up at World of Beer.

Your task, should you be lucky enough to get picked, is to travel to different places for four months beginning in the summer to sample beers at brewery and attend beer festivals. Then, you are to report what you've discovered and experienced through stories and social media posts. All of your travel accommodations and beer tab will be shouldered by the company.

Apart from the perks of beer and travel, you will also be paid $12,000 for the four-month gig. But before you hand out your resume to Word of Beer, know that you're technically applying for a job as a social media intern. Your love for drinking beer is only a secondary qualification. You have to be updated on digital technology and trends.

"We'll send you down the street and around the world to capture the best beer stories and document them by blogging, capturing video, taking photos, Facebooking, Tweeting, sharing Vines, Periscoping, and anything else you think would be awesome to help tell the tale," the job description cites. The company is only accepting applications until March 26, after which, shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in early April.

In order to be considered, you have to be above 21 to apply, and you should be authorized to work in the U.S. but not necessarily a U.S. citizen. The company is based in Florida, but it has various franchise across the U.S.

The job offer is similar to Netflix's post that opened in February, when the streaming site announced that it will play individuals $4,000 for a two-week gig as a "Grammaster." All they have to do is take photos of a TV production that will be filming in Europe and then post this on social media. Netflix also posted a similar fun job in 2014 as a "professional binge-watcher." This is a more permanent position that will have the worker tagging and rating shows that will be streamed on the site to match what the users want.
