Jason Derulo will be hosting this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards! The 26-year-old "Talk Dirty" singer, who is used to hitting the stage as a performer, has been revealed to be the host of the event, which will take place on April 3 at the Forum in Los Angeles.

"Jason Derulo embodies all of the qualities of the perfect host for our show," said Tom Poleman, President of iHeartMedia's National Programming Group. "Anyone who has ever seen Jason perform knows that he has the rare ability to completely connect with his audience. He is a creative and talented artist with the same passion and energy as our fans, making him the perfect bridge between the two groups."

Derulo will be joined on stage by Zayn Malik, Chris Brown, DNCE, Fetty Wap and Demi Lovato, who have all been added to the already incredible lineup of performers. Justin Bieber and Meghan Trainor had already previously been announced as performing artists, as well as Pitbull and Maroon 5, who will perform from the Capital One JamFest in Houston, Texas, that will be aired during the show.

"iHeartRadio has been such an important supporter of mine, and I'm thrilled and honored to be hosting this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards," Derulo said. "2015 was an incredible year for so many talented artists. It's going to be a great night of celebration and performance for music fans all across the country, and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of it."

While Derulo is excited, he is also nervous because it's such a new experience for him. "I have a little bit of nerves," he said. "It's something new, it's something a little different. I've co-hosted some award shows overseas before, but never hosted on my own, so that's brand new. I'm excited. It's an amazing celebration."

As for the performances, he's just as thrilled about the line up so far as the rest of us. "iHeart always brings out the biggest artists in the world," Derulo added. "I listen to all of the performers-you've got Pitbull, you've got Justin Bieber, you've got Meghan Trainor. There's no shortage!"

The iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live on TBS, TNT and truTV at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on April 3. It will also be broadcast on iHeart stations nationwide as well as the iHeartRadio app. To vote click here!
