It has been one full year since "The Late Late Show with James Corden" premiered on CBS, so how did the host celebrate his anniversary? By abandoning his regular studio and finding a kind stranger willing to host Corden and his guests by going door-to-door in a Los Angeles neighborhood. When everyone was all settled into the stranger's house, Corden played a game of hide-and-seek with his guests, including Demi Lovato, Colin Farrell, Wanda Sykes and the house owner herself, Natalie.

The new studio for the night was named "Natalie's House" after the host. After Corden brought in his guests for the night, he decided that hide-and-seek would be the perfect ice-breaker. Corden was the one who counted to 20 while Farrell, Natalie, Lovato and Sykes all hid. Sykes chose the most hilarious, but obvious, hiding spot and decided to sit on a stool while trying to look like a wax figure of herself. Lovato ran straight upstairs to hide while Farrell went into a closet and Natalie hid in her own room.

Even though Sykes had hid in plain sight of Corden, he completely missed her and found Lovato and Natalie before. When Corden finally found the comedian, he couldn't believe that she had been sitting right in front of him. "That was a little bit racist," Sykes joked.

Farrell ended up being the winner of hide-and-seek, but the actor did not seem too thrilled about his victory.

"When you win you just feel unloved," Colin said. "You hear all this laughter and you're in the cupboard."

The goal of the entire one-year anniversary episode was to re-create an episode from April 2015 during the second week of his show, where he broadcasted from a stranger's living room. The host, Jeff Goldblum, invaded "Tommy's House" and brought Beck along as a musical guest.

Corden did not just play hide-and-seek at Natalie's house. He also held interviews with Farrell and Sykes, who brought a gift for the host of the house. After the game of hide-and-seek, Corden brought out animal expert Jack Hanna, who brought along with him a skunk, a bush baby, an otter and an American bald eagle. The skunk terrified the home owners the most, but Corden was especially scared by the eagle.

"This is like Jumanji," Farrell said. "I don't know what's going to happen next!"
