The bathroom can be one of the most awkward places to strike up a conversation with a stranger, and James Corden took that concept and ran with it on "The Late Late Show." On Tuesday night, Paul Rudd dropped by the show where he and the host where he got extra friendly with Corden while using the urinal.

The run in at the bathroom between Rudd and Corden started the way most do when people meet for the first time: small talk about the weather. After some nice chit-chat, the conversation then took a turn towards bizarre when the actor mentioned that he had been in that particular bathroom all weekend.

"I was here mostly," Rudd said.

"In the office?" Corden asked.

"No, no. Right here," Rudd said as he referred to the urinal.

The actor then started eating a sandwich, which did not even faze Corden, who started eating his own yogurt parfait as the topic of conversation turned towards politics.

"I don't think I'm going to vote this year," said Rudd as he put mustard on his sandwich. "It's just kind of pointless, you know. I mean, it's not going to come down to one vote."

"Because you don't like any of the candidates?" Corden asked as he added some honey to his own snack.

If eating at the bathroom did not cross the line for Rudd and Corden, the two also shaved, played crossword puzzles and did some arts and crafts all while at the urinal before they hugged each other goodbye.

"I still have a ways to go," Rudd confessed. "I had three ventis this morning."

After the sketch, Rudd stuck around for an interview with Corden and was also joined by actress Diane Lane. In the interview, Rudd revealed that he had auditioned for the part of Jack Dawson in "Titanic," which went to Leonardo DiCaprio. Rudd revealed he really wanted to get the role of Jack because his dad was a Titanic historian, and gave the casting directors some fun facts about the actually Titanic ship. Rudd said he would have loved to be in the film, but admitted the guy who ended up getting the part was "pretty good."

Corden then asked Lane and Rudd to recreate the famous "I'm flying" scene where Jack stands behind Kate Winselt's Rose at the front of the Titanic while Corden acted as their wind machine.
