One of the main differences between AMC's "The Walking Dead" and its rookie companion series from last summer "Fear The Walking Dead" was focus. "The Walking Dead" focused more on the zombie apocalypse and the mounting threats that resulted from it, where as "Fear The Walking Dead" took a slow burn approach while putting family drama front and center. "Fear" wasn't always successful in its intent, but it deserves credit for attempting to be a character study in a world of flesh eating zombies.

An example of this can be seen in the changing dynamic between main characters Madison (Kim Dickens) and boyfriend Travis (Cliff Curtis). Madison accepted the collapse of society and all of the rules that went with it early on. She quickly shed her fear of getting her hands dirty in order to protect her family. Travis, on the other hand, seemed determine to cling to the ideals of the "old war," insisting that the government would save them and that everything would be fine. That difference in mindset created a noticeable rift between the two characters.

Now, in a clip from the season one DVD (due out March 22), the two have a charged conversation about how to handle the rapidly decaying situation. Naturally, the disagreement causes issues between them and Travis' ex-wife Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez). You can check out the deleted scene below.

Season two of "Fear The Walking Dead" will find our main characters shortly after the conclusion of season one. The action has shifted from the land to the sea as our heroes have boarded the boat of late season one arrival Victor Strand (Colman Domingo). Zombies in the ocean, what's not to like? The character will search for areas that have not yet been infected with the zombie virus. However, as the season two promos have told us, there is "no safe harbor."

"Fear The Walking Dead" will return to AMC for a second season on Sunday, April 10.
