Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who was earlier linked up with actress Sonakshi Sinha, is now reportedly dating newcomer Athiya Shetty.

Media reports claim that the duo has been dating for the last few months. The couple was also spotted together at various events in past few weeks.

Speculations started to gain momentum when Kapoor and Shetty arrived together at director Punit Malhotra's party in Mumbai. Kapoor's alleged ex-girlfriend and actress Sinha, "Wazir" actress Aditi Rao Hydari, Genelia Deshmukh, Sophie Choudry and Huma Qureshi were also present at the party, which was organized to celebrate fashion designer Manish Malhotra' 25 years in the film industry.

A source, however, dismissed the media speculations on Kapoor and Shetty's link up, saying that they are just good friends. They have known each other since childhood. "Athiya has been close to Arjun's sister Anshula long before she entered the industry. They have known each other for years and they meet up practically every week. They are good friends. Athiya knows Arjun because of Anshula and not vice versa. He is Anshula's brother for Athiya and nothing else," the source said few days back.

There is still no official word if Kapoor and Shetty are dating or not, but, if they are, then they join list of Bollywood's young and hot couples.

Actor Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya recently made her Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in the Salman Khan-produced film "Hero." She will soon sign and announce her next project. "Soon, very soon, I have project coming up, but I can't talk about it right now as soon as I signed, you'll come to know" she said during a recent media interaction.

Kapoor is currently busy with promotions of his upcoming romance comedy drama "Ki and Ka," which he will star in along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film, directed by R. Balki of "Paa" and "Cheeni Kum," is set to release on April 1. "We have not made this film to give any message but since people have appreciated this, we want it to reach to the audience. I don't think one film is enough to bring any evolution," the "Tevar" actor said about his next project.
