Congratulations to Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin! The "Gotham" stars welcomed their first child together on March 2 and named the baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan.

The 36-year-old Brazilian-born actress and her 37-year-old boyfriend first met on the set of Fox's "Gotham" where Mackenzie plays Police Commissioner James Gordon and Baccarin plays his love interest, Dr. Leslie Thompkins. The two revealed they were expecting a child together back in September 2015, right after they confirmed their relationship for the first time.

"Morena and Ben are so happy to welcome baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan on March 2," reps Jennifer Allen and Rhett Usry confirmed. "All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes."

While this is the couple's first child together, Baccarin is already the mother to a 2-year-old son named Julian with her estranged husband Austin Chick. Baccarin and Chick married in 2001 before they split in 2015 and Chick filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The two are still not legally divorced. Baccarin had to postpone the deposition needed to finalize the divorce due to her high-risk pregnancy.

"I am now almost eight months pregnant, and I continue to have a high risk pregnancy. My physician, who I last saw on Jan. 29, 2016, has advised me to have as  much bed rest as possible and limited activities," she declared in court documents. "She further advised that sitting (as to answering questions) for a deposition, regardless of length of time, is unduly and unnecessarily stressful to me at this time. Such stress will affect my personal well-being and potentially cause harm to the health of my unborn child."

While a divorce is a lot of stress for a pregnant woman to go through, Baccarin revealed that being pregnant the second time around was much easier than the first.

"I'm definitely less nervous, but it goes by a lot quicker because you're chasing after a toddler," she told reporters. "There is not a lot of resting going on. I don't feel worse, it's just been very different."

Luckily for the actress, her boyfriend was there to care for her both at home and on the set of "Gotham."

"Ben's the sweetest," the actress said. "It's very nice to work with your significant other, especially when you're pregnant because you know you'll get some extra TLC and get taken care of."
