Ben & Jerry's enthusiasts may want to sit down for a moment. The Vermont ice cream company announced some very exciting news - there will be three new flavors of its popular "core" line of ice cream. Today, Ben & Jerry's revealed the first of the three flavors on its new Snapchat: Brownie Batter Core.

Ben & Jerry's Core flavors put a topping right down the middle of the pint while the ice cream and other ingredients surround it. The Brownie Batter Core flavor features both chocolate and vanilla ice cream with fudge brownies and a brownie batter core. The company used to sell a Brownie Batter flavor, but it has since been retired. The new flavor will be available on store shelves within the next couple of weeks and joins the already existing core flavors of Hazed & Confused, Karamel Sutra, Peanut Butter Fudge, Salter Caramel and That's My Jam.

In addition to revealing the new Brownie Batter Core flavor, Ben & Jerry's will also debut two more flavors on its Snapchat (username: benandjerrys). The second announcement will happen at 5 p.m. EST today and the final flavor will be revealed at 9 a.m. EST March 9. All three new flavors will sell for $4.79-$4.99 per pint.

"Spooning your way to brownie nirvana?" asks Ben & Jerry's in the description for Brownie Batter Core. "Smack dab in the middle of this brownie-chunk-filled ice cream there's a core of unbaked brownie batter calling your name. No, really. We heard it."

It is only the beginning of March and Ben & Jerry's is already having a great year. In February, the company announced new almond milk-based, dairy-free ice cream flavors, including Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chunky Monkey, Coffee Caramel Fudge and P.B. & Cookies. All four flavors are vegan certified and now available in stores. (The three new core flavors will not be dairy-free.)

"Creating a fully euphoric frozen dessert with all of the creamy texture, funky chunks and sweet swirls you know and love - but without dairy, eggs or honey - was no simple task. But our Flavor Gurus were up for the challenge, and they knocked it out of the park," a statement from Ben & Jerry's reads. "The result is a sweet treat that we know both vegans and dairy fans alike will find spoon-lickin' good."
