Gwyneth Paltrow is known for having beautiful and glowing skin, so when she revealed that she would be launching her very own skincare line, it immediately sparked interest in those looking to copy her flawless look. Since the 43-year-old actress also dedicates her time to living the healthiest life possible, it made sense that the products would be organic and pure.

Paltrow has teamed up with organic cosmetic brand Juice Beauty to create Goop, which is a new six-piece facial skincare line. The line includes a Luminous Melting Cleanser, Exfoliating Instant Facial, Enriching Face Oil, Revitalizing Day Moisturizer, Replenishing Night Cream and Perfecting Eye Cream. While Goop is created from some of the most natural ingredients Juice Beauty has to offer, Paltrow truly believes it stands out from all the other organic products out there.

"This is our own label and it's something I take great pride in. I worked really hard to create it," she told Refinery29. "The skin care is something that I've been so incredibly passionate about. I essentially made it for people like me, people who are looking for really effective [products]-vain people like me. I wasn't finding that kind of efficacy in the health food store. I thought there must be a way to create incredible beauty products for your skin that works."

As someone who was completely "shocked" by the amount of chemicals and carcinogens in the products she's been using her whole life, she knew it was important to create a luxury line that is non-toxic and pure. The line features products that minimize fine lines and wrinkles and make skin glow. She even believes in the products so much that she uses them herself.

Paltrow revealed that she was most proud of the Instant Facial because it's her favorite. "I use every day and it's been an amazing product," she explained. "I think on the thing it says you're only supposed to use it two or three times a week; I use it every night. Because I'm old and need the regeneration. It's an incredible product-it brings fresh skin to the surface and [your skin] feels really clean and plump."

She's someone who stresses how important it is to take good care of your skin and hopes these products will help people live a healthier lifestyle. "Your skin tells all your secrets. [You have to have] good nutrition and exercise and hydration," she said, adding that the only thing non-organic in her daily routine is her hair products. "It's hard for me to find green hair products that work for me. I think that might have to be the next foray."

Paltrow recently appeared on "The Tonight Show," and she and host Jimmy Fallon put her organic products to the test by eating them with McDonald's French fries. While she admitted that it tasted "somewhere between ranch and bath soap," the test proved just how clean they really are.

"I couldn't find products that were luxurious and really effective and help with wrinkles and all that that were organic," she told Fallon. "I'm very into healthy food and wellness and stuff like that, and I think this is an extension of trying to eat well and I'm really proud of them. We worked for 13 months non-stop, back and forth with the chemists until we got them feeling really beautiful."

Since she is still a celebrity dealing with negative press, she does admit that she's faced some scrutiny so far, but she will do what it takes to defend her company. "Sometimes I'll get annoyed if someone's like, 'Goop is so expensive.' I'm like, 'Have you looked at the website? Have you seen the range of price points. 'Cause we sell things that are $8,'" she told Glamour. "I'm like, 'If you want to f--k with me, bring you're A-game. At least have all your information.' Once in a while, if I'm exhausted or overwhelmed, I'll be like 'Ugh, that bugs me,' or 'That hurt my feelings.' But very rarely. I don't lose sleep over it. It's my business to live my life and learn my lessons. I don't care what anybody else thinks."
