British singer Rita Ora has been cast to star in the upcoming movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" as Mia Grey, Entertainment Weekly reports. Mia is the adopted sister of Christian and Elliot Grey and is described as outgoing and bubbly. Physically she is tall, curvaceous and has dark, dark black hair.

"It's official! I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia. #FiftyShades," she tweeted.

Universal Pictures and Focus Features also confirmed that Max Martini will play the quiet, trusted bodyguard Jason Taylor. Also in the movie is Victor Rasuk as Jose Rodriguez, Jennifer Ehle as Carla, Ana's mom, Eloise Mumford as Kate Kavanagh, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.

"Fifty Shades" recently began filming on Sunday, Dec. 1 in Vancouver, Canada. E.L. James announced the news on Twitter writing "Action" and including a link to an Instagram photo of a movie slate. Producer Dana Brunetti retweeted the picture with the caption "And we're off."

Screenwriter Kelly Marcel also tweeted about the filming writing "Thinking of team 50 today - @E_L_James @DanaBrunetti @MichaelDe_Luca @jebbrody. Good luck guys."

Fans were able to get a sneak peek of Dornan Johnson in character when two photos surfaced online showing the actor in a dark grey suit and white shirt and Ana in a military jacket and scarf.

It's not clear what scene was being filmed but it looks like it was the "coffee date" scene where Christian expresses his interest in Ana and questions her about her personal life and family. In the book the scene occurs after Ana first meets the kinky billionaire during an awkward interview for the school newspaper.

According to E! News, a source said that some of the filming for that day took place at Rainer Provisions Café.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will hit theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
