Sarah Paulson has confirmed her relationship with fellow actress Holland Taylor three months after news about their relationship broke. The "American Horror Story" actress opened up about her relationship with the much-older "Two and a Half Men" star and also dished about her sexuality.

Paulson, 40, currently stars in the FX drama "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," where she portrays Marcia Clark, the head prosecutor in the infamous 1994 trial of former NFL star O.J. Simpson for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Paulson discussed her new gig in an interview with the New York Times and also opened up about her personal life, confirming her relationship with Taylor.

"What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor," Paulson told the New York Times.

The actress was still in a relationship with her then-partner, actress Cherry Jones, when she met Taylor, but still thought the "L Word" star was "probably the most exquisitely beautiful woman I'd ever seen." Paulson and Jones split in 2009. She has been dating Taylor for about a year.

Paulson has a specific preference for dating older partners. There is an 18-year age gap between Paulson and Jones, and a 9-year age difference between Paulson and her ex-fiancé, actor Tracy Letts. The age gap between Paulson and current partner Taylor is 32 years.

The actress also admitted she purposely has never labeled her sexuality. "My choices in romantic partners have not been conventional and, therefore, the idea that it is 'other' makes it compelling," Paulson acknowledged.

"If my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that's going to make me feel really straitjacketed, and I don't want to feel that," she continued.

While neither Taylor nor Paulson has spoken about each other by name in the press until now, the couple have shared sweet exchanges with each other via social media. Last November, Paulson tweeted a link in support of a New York Times interview focused on Taylor.

"I love your mind @HollandTaylor yup yup yup," Paulson wrote along with the link, and Taylor responded, ".@MsSarahPaulson I love your appreciation. It's you with the fine (and beautiful) head..."
