Lady Gaga has already been awarded for her work on the last season of "American Horror Story," but will Mother Monster be around for season six? Actress Angela Basset, who first appeared on the show for "American Horror Story: Coven," opened up about working with Gaga and if she will return to the FX horror anthology series.

"It was exciting," Bassett told Entertainment Weekly of getting to work with the singer turned actress. "You knew she'd be an formidable force and foe, and indeed she was."

When asked if the Golden Globe winner would return for season six, Bassett said, "I hear, I think, perhaps that she's out to return. She had a good time with us."

Bassett has already announced her return to Ryan Murphy's show for next year, which will be her fourth season of "American Horror Story." The actress even revealed that Murphy has teased her with a couple of hints about the character she will take on in the still unnamed sixth season.

"He did tell me at the Golden Globes that I would imbibe a little bit too much, and yet I was very inuitive also and maybe Sarah [Paulson] was somehow the boss of me," Bassett revealed.

It is still unclear what the subject for the next season of the show would be, but last month rumors surfaced that the show would take on a real-life American horror story legend: Slender Man. Slender Man was created as an internet meme on the website Something Awful in 2009 and soon took over the internet, spawning several video games and even a YouTube series, according to Cinema Blend. The character is said to stalk and kidnap children.

"Someone else wrote the script, and 'AHS' wants to adapt it to fit the show," an insider told Us Weekly. "They have to buy the rights. Then they're going to figure out the cast from there."
