"Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada announced that she is six months pregnant with her second child. The 37-year-old reality star confirmed the surprising baby news to People magazine.

"I am so excited to announce a wonderful blessing - I'm pregnant!" she said.

Lozada has a 20-year-old daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship. The VH1 star showed off her growing baby bump on Instagram and was recently photographed concealing the bump while in a bathing suit cover-up while on vacation with her daughter.

She has not revealed whether she is expecting a boy or a girl and told People that she wants to keep the identity of the baby's father a secret at the moment.

"I'm excited about being a mommy all over again," she said. "This is something I've been wanting for years and I can't believe it's finally happening."

Lozada divorced Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson in 2012 after two months of marriage. The athlete was arrested for assaulting her and charged with domestic battery for allegedly head-butting Lozada after the two got into an argument.

In Sept. 2012 he pleaded no contest and was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and sentenced to a year of probation. He was released from the Miami Dolphins following the incident and Lozada filed for divorce shortly after.

According to TMZ, sources claim the reality star has been in a relationship with another man for at least a year and the pregnancy was planned. The sources said the relationship is "very serious" and only a small group of people knew about the baby news at first.

"I'm so thankful for so many things! How much greatness has happened in a year! I'm sooooo damn HAPPY!! Yipeeeee. I mean DAMN HAPPY!!!!" she wrote on her Facebook page on Thanksgiving.
