June Shannon collapsed in her home on Wednesday and was rushed to the hospital by her daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon. The "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" matriarch had thrown up throughout the day and experienced multiple fainting spells shortly before her collapse.

Crash dieting may have caused the health scare. Mama June ate little during the day and had been pushing her diet recently. She first passed out after walking down the stairs, but regained consciousness. The fainting spells compelled Pumpkin to take her to the hospital.

The mother of four remained in the hospital on Wednesday night. Doctors planned to give her CT scan and do blood work.

Shannon has lost more than 100 pounds since she started taking better care of herself in the last couple years. She weighed 365 pounds when "Honey Boo Boo" first started filming in 2011.

She is scheduled to appear on the E! series "Botched" to have excess skin removed as a result of the dramatic weight loss, and underwent a new non-invasive procedure called "cool sculpting" to remove her double chin or what her children called her "turkey neck." Her episode of "Botched" has not received an air date.

Mama June showed off her slimmer figure on the beach in Florida last summer. Doing her best "Baywatch" impression, she wore a one-piece red bathing suit and ran down the beach with a flotation device in her hand.

She and her estranged husband Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson also appeared on the most recent season of WeTV's "Marriage Boot Camp." The couple struggled to work through revelations that Sugar Bear had cheated on his wife.

"Me and Sugar's been in a relationship for a little over 11 years, and it's in serious trouble, because Sugar's been cheating, and I'm hoping to get some answers," Shannon said during one episode. "My daughter, Alana, found proof and that's what really devastated me!"

The return to reality TV came more than year after TLC cancelled the family's show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," in the wake of allegations that Shannon was dating her ex-boyfriend Mark McDaniel, who was convicted of molesting her oldest daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, at eight years old. The reality star denied having any romantic relationship with McDaniel.
