Ben Higgins was faced with a tough decision on last night's episode of ABC's hit reality TV dating competition series "The Bachelor." The Season 20 star whisked away the three remaining ladies - JoJo, Caila and Lauren B. - to a romantic vacation in Jamaica, only to have to send one lady home. His emotions started to come into play as he professed his love for two of the three women, and sent the other home with a tearful good-bye.

JoJo and Lauren B. each opened up about their feelings for Higgins during their one-on-one dates in Jamaica, each telling Higgins they love him. Higgins, surprisingly, told them both he loved them back, and admitted to the cameras that he was in love with both women. He had to break the news to Caila, who took it well, but then got into her car and broke down in tears in the backseat. Higgins opened up about that experience in a new blog post.

"I think, when we sat down, she could tell something was off," Higgins wrote. "She could feel the weight on my shoulders, but I still don't think she knew what was about to happen. I tried to get into it as quickly as I could while still explaining myself. I could see the hurt in her eyes. And I hated myself for hurting her."

He continued to list all of the amazing qualities that Caila had, and even called her "the perfect woman." He explained his thought process, saying he went back and forth in his head when he made his decision and he "must be an idiot" for not having strong feelings for Caila.

"But, at the same time, I know love is not about logic. And I could not help what was in my heart. I had to say good-bye," he continued.

Caila's good-bye was a tearful one, but she waited until she was in the car to break down while talking to herself in the backseat.

"I thought I'd be getting engaged in a week and a half," she said, tears streaming down her face. "I was ready to be his wife. I was ready for our future. I thought this was it."
