You can sometimes be the butt of jokes for wearing beauty masks as some people find amusement in a face covered with cream. However, these face packs from a Japanese company, which features cool superhero designs, might just convince you to do your nightly regimen without the need for hiding.

Dermatologist and skin care experts recommend using face masks regularly so that skin is hydrated and removed of excess oil that could lead to breakouts. Beauty masks also work to improve the appearance of skin pores to achieve a flawless face. The only problem is that regular face masks can look hideous with its thick, gunky and oily texture. Some formulas can also stiffen on the skin since you have to put it on for at least 20 minutes, so you're powerless and unable to talk, laugh and express anything until the mask is off.

Cosmetics company Isshin-do Honpo from Japan has come up with its Marvel-inspired Design Face Pack set that puts the fun in your beauty routine. The face pack come with two of its top Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America, so that you're basically in costume while your skin is getting its treatments. The masks are made of ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid Na, hydrolyzed collagen and vitamin C. They help boost skin moisture and minimize acne scars.

Like any regular mask, the quirky face packs should be easy for anyone to use.  The company's site has an illustration about its application. It shows that you'll need to simply put on the mask carefully, and instead of a ghostly face, you get to keep with your beauty routines looking like an Avenger.

The release is quite timely given that Marvel's latest movie, "Captain America: Civil War," features Captain America facing off against Iron Man. The movie opens in theaters May 6.

These beauty products are also officially licensed by Marvel and distributed on Japan Trend Shop. The pack of two retails for about $29 and it can be shipped to the United States.

If you're not a fan of Marvel, Isshin-do Honpo also released packs featuring animal faces and the rock band, KISS.
