The race for Best Picture is wide open, but the biggest question about this year's Oscar ceremony is who will show up.

A number of big names are boycotting the Academy Awards to protest the all-white acting nominations. In his second time hosting, Chris Rock will have the delicate task to pay tribute to the films nominated while commenting on the people missing from the nominees.

Leonardo DiCaprio is favored to win his first Oscar for his leading role in "The Revenant." He has lost for his previous four nominations. Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson will compete for Best Actress in a Leading Role and "Creed" star Sylvester Stallone could take home his first Oscar for the role of Rocky Balboa, which he was first nominated for in 1977.
