Before Matt Baier co-starred alongside his fiancée Amber Portwood on MTV's hit series "Teen Mom OG," he spent time live-tweeting his opinions and reactions to each episode of the franchise, according to Radar Online. Earlier this week, screenshots surfaced online of Baier's previous tweets, which included more than one rude comment about "Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry - and her response to his mean tweets is surprising.

"Honestly, it is what it is. Obviously I was skeptical about him at first because of it," Lowry, 23, told reality TV blog Real Mr. Housewife. "But I met him in person and he was very nice to me. And let's face it. I'm sure there are people we do KNOW, consider friends and are acquaintances with that talk crap about us too."

Baier, 43, took jabs at Lowry in a series of tweets dated from July 2014, according to screenshots obtained by Radar Online. He insulted Lowry's appearance more than once, claiming Lowry's "head is the size of the snoopy balloon in the Macys parade," and slammed her 2014 memoir, "Pride Over Pity."

"What was the topic of Kailyns book? how to bang ugly dudes, cheat in a shower and have my face always look like I'm allergic to shellfish?" Baier wrote in a July 2014 tweet.

Portwood spoke out against her fiancé's previous tweets and suggested that there's no bad blood between the MTV franchise co-stars.

"That was before we met you guys and he stopped that ignorance," Portwood, 25, wrote on Twitter. "We love Kail and she knows it..that's all that matters."
