'Fallout 4' Survival Mode Rumors: Leak Shows Updated Save System, Lethal Combat And More

The new Survival Mode for "Fallout 4" is coming our way, and everyone is just plain excited. Indeed, Bethesda has already said that the Survival Mode for the game is being overhauled, so what could players expect?

With the rumor mill going quite crazy, Reddit user ShaneD53 has posted an overview of the game's alleged Survival Mode overhaul based on in-game files, according to The International Business Times.

Indeed, if the information released is accurate, 'Fallout 4's" new Survival Mode is looking really good.

For one, saving would not be as easy as before, with players having to find a bed first and sleeping for an hour before being able to save, reports Game Pur.

Carrying a lot of ammo would be trickier than usual as well, with the weight of armaments being taken into consideration. Thus, players who love carrying mini nukes around are bound to have a bad time.

Combat would be a lot trickier as well, with the new Survival Mode allowing players to deal, as well as take more damage. Therefore, factors such as adrenaline are things that must always be remembered, reports Attack of the Fanboy.

One thing that might be a quite inconvenient for players, however, is that fast travel would allegedly be disabled in the new Survival Mode. Considering how vast the universe of "Fallout 4" is, players in the new Survival Mode would surely have to dedicate a lot of time.

Then again, without the vast landscape, the game wouldn't be "Fallout" anymore, would it?
