Bella is an 11-year-old girl suffering from Morquio Syndrome, a genetic disorder that inhibits the healthy growth of bones. Treatment exists, but there's no cure, reported Faith Reel. Until last year, she was unable to walk without crutches, and even with them, she had difficulty. This all changed when she met George, an incredible Great Dane, at the Service Dog Project in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

The Service Dog Project trains dogs to give to people whose mobility is reduced due to ailments or accidents. The pups are given general training, and then when they're matched to a person, their training continues in accordance to the needs of their person, explains The Service Dog Project on their website.

Bella only weighs 43 pounds, George weighs 131, and they go about their day together, every day. Watch the incredible video below that shows just how much of an impact this service dog made on this sweet girl's life. The video was uploaded by YouTube user D Robi.

With George by her side, Bella can do anything that any other kid can do. They've been sledding, biking, and have gone on vacations, as the video says.

"He helps me a lot! I lean on him like a crutch," said Bella in the video. Her mother said that he's been amazing. "I think he's given her more energy and more strength," said Bella's mom in the video.

You can follow the pair's journey on their Facebook page, Bella and GeorgeThe posts explain different aspects of Bella's care and how George is by her side at all times. George keeps Bella company through all her treatments, and he even snuggles with her at night. He's a truly incredible animal.
