Actress and singer Lea Michele and her model boyfriend Matthew Paetz have called it quits after dating for almost two years, People reported. The "Glee" and "Scream Queens" star's representative confirmed the couple's split, which took place earlier this month.

"Lea is surrounded by her friends, who have rallied around her and support her," a source told People. "She's doing fine, focusing on her work, her music and her album."

Michele and Paetz met in June 2014 while on set of the music video for her single "On My Way," E! News reported, and it was Michele's first serious relationship since losing her boyfriend Cory Monteith, who died of a drug and alcohol overdose in 2013 at 31 years old.

The former couple moved in together in September 2014, and Michele made an appearance on the PodcastOne show "Fempire" last month, according to Us Weekly. During her interview, the star gushed about her relationship with Paetz, which is why a source said she was "blindsided" by the breakup.

"He had enough," an insider told Us Weekly about the split. "She was completely crushed. He won't take her back."

But Michele is leaning on her girlfriends, fellow actresses Emma Roberts and Becca Tobin. Since the split, Michele has shared photos on Instagram of herself enjoying girl time with Roberts and Tobin and getting her sweat on with hot yoga and Soul Cycle classes.

"Girls day at @coteshop w/ my girl @itsbeccatobin," Michele captioned a shot taken of her and Tobin clinking wine glasses together while enjoying a pedicure at Los Angeles nail salon Côte Shop.
